I need to build a T/R circuit for my 70 cm (432 Mhz) amp. For the output relay I've got a tohtsu CX-800. I need to find something to switch the exciter. I have a bunch of RTE24012F relays and was thinking about using one for the exciter which should only ever see 30 watts max. These seem to work OK at HF as I used them for a solid state amp a few years ago.

Has anyone used these at UHF before? Any other recomended relays? I've tried using one but it seems to have a bad swr when tx through the relay.
Thanks,

Quick check that the link works. Could receive messages on
the other link but could not send.
Not on EME just now, Re-building the 144MHZ pre-amplifier
with a bigger better bypass relay.
Also completing the 432MHz antennas and amplifier, so with
luck should be a better signal.
With luck (and low winds) should be back on after holidays
probably September.

I rescued several Aluminum boxes used in a point to point microwave
data link from being scrapped. They are very nice with finned exterior
for heat dissipation with
double gasket sealed hinged lid. Working measurements inside are
12 X 6 X 9 inches.(corners jut in about a 1/2 inch); great for amp or
LNA or polarity switch mount.
They has 2 openinig for a standard 4 hole mount chassis connector. They
have N type now but were
cut to close to be used again. There are 2 openings on the back when the
waveguide flanges
came in. Boxes weigh 17 lbs. I am happy to ship for costs. If you want
photos
just email. I may put one up on Ebay just to have the pictures up.
asking 65.00. These are not the average hoffman box. Probably a little
cost prohibitive for overseas shipping.

Hello Friends
I am in the process of replacing my TX rotor with the Alfa spid Az Rotor. Now for the controller i have 2 choices the one that comes with the rotor or the Green Heron which can be configured to work with the Alfa Spid rotor
There is some debate as to the quality & workmanship of the Alfa Spid controller & some prefers to use the Green Heron controller.
If there is some of you using this rotor & controller that comes with please give your impressions & experience with it.
Please respond directly to me.
