HI Rick
I use Narda relay and never lost one....but I am using a sequencer from
DH8BQA and it is very good...and if you do cw then there is input for it to
controlle the sequence..just let the keyer do the worke :-)

Absolutely spot on Ron. Another 'out of this World' attempt to defend
the indefensible.
From talking to some of the real old time EMEers (mostly SK now) they
used 20M to "coordinate" those QSOs. .
*How did he do that ??

#1 How do you adjust IQ Rx Calibration?
I placed -30 db sample taps in between each WA2ODO preamp output and
the IQ+V inputs. I put a weak 114.125 MHz carrier into the splitter
and then into both H-pol and V-pol IQ+V inputs via the -30 db taps.
In MAP65 I click on adjust and then apply. The amplitude and phase
values are never a perfect match but usually close. My IQ Rx
Calibration didn't include the preamps, antenna or cables. Should
the reference signal be broadcast to the antenna and pass through the
untire signal path?
These are my typical results - Amp: 0.9927 1.0026 Phase: -0.0464 -0.0445
Is this close enough? Is my test signal injection system what is
needed? How often do I need to re-calibrate Rx IQ?
#2 I'm totally baffled about how to Find Delta Phi. I'm also
doubting that MAP65 is reporting the correct incoming signal
polarization. The relative values are very useful but they don't
match the physical orientation of the "+" configuration X-pol antenna
that I'm using.
I have read the MAP65 manual and didn't find details on how to make
these adjustments.
I'm using MAP65 directly interfaced to the IQ+V using the Delta44
sound card and having very good success. I'm using WSJT v10
simultaneously with MAP65 / IQ+V / X=pol and easily doubling the
number of successful EME QSO.
BTW - Watching the 31NOV to 1NOV - ARRL EME (2M) Contest on MAP65 was
amazing! Almost every frequency was occupied from 144.102 to 144.154
Even multiple CQs on the same freq assignment.

I was able to get back on 1296 with my small station on Friday.I had some nice runs until the doppler on my JT program started making no sense. At one point it was at 1200 and then all of a sudden it went to minus 200Is this normal or is there something wrong with my computer. With this happening I wound up quitting because I had no idea where to transmitThank youHerb at WA2FGK
Is anyone on this list using a ( rather old) 50 A Farnell SMPSU number F2705SCC? Im looking for circuit or even just an identification of which board does what. I need to locate the start up circuit.
Im going to have one more go at trying to fix it before it goes to the tip.
Please contact off list. g3ltf AT btinternet.com
