Hi all
First tnx for all the reply.
You sent me some gd ideas wich i can use.
Some ideas off PA4EME and PA7Y i build in my GS35B linear.
Helping a little bit buth not much.
I think the biggest problem is on TX the ALC level control in the TS2000
when in SSB mode.
I did test with the microfoon and on the digital modes when the TS2000 is
on SSB.
On FM and CW i all is working fine .
Btw my swr between TS2000 and the PA is very gd.
So i go for another gd idea off PA4EME and put a transistor PA between the
TS2000 and the GS35B linear.
On this way i can run on low power/output off the TS2000 and the transitor
PA and give me gd power for the GS35B.
TNX all and 73 from GYS PA1GYS
Dear friends,
Narda 31119 (Motorola 58D09643T04) directional couplers are widely available
for $30-$40. Although designed for cellular service, they are useful in the
VHF/UHF bands too.
Here are measurements on two units using a calibrated Agilent N9923A
FieldFox VNA.

All values except frequency are dB, test cables normalized out. I wouldn't
trust the 2nd decimal place, especially for directivity.

Friends, it was very difficult to decide if an array of 2x12 H or 2x10 X-POL
The team has decided on a X-pol array, this requires more hardware !!
We can not buy commercial antennas, we need to make them here.
Experts who can recommend? Do we need to build antennas over a 25mm square boom?
That it hurts the loss of ZS6AXT, my respect to his family, R.I.P

What is your favorite/preferred coax for making up V/U test jumpers? I
have the proper tooling for applying BNC crimps and need to make up some
jumpers for cabling up a 141/8550 series HP Analyzer/Tr Gen.

Hello Lunatics,
We have decided to produce a 24Ghz LNA using the same concept as for 10Ghz.
The preliminary spec's:
Noisefigure approx: 1dB
Gain > 25dB
Input WR-42 waveguide
We would like to know how many are interested in order to prepare the pilotbatch for construction.
Looking forward to receive yr replies.
