Seems the consensus is to use N connectors so I will move forward with
those. I also just received my DEMI transverter and WA2ODO preamp and
both of them have N connector fittings. My fiberglass boom material
should be here by the end of the day and the antennas will be here
tomorrow. Im really gettin' stoked now.

Same happened to my Ham-IV rotator. I bought a
new Ham-IV as replacement and probably could have just replaced the cap.
Note this is AC voltage so cap needs to be
non-polarized. I found a 125 uF 100v cap at NAPA
Auto Parts and hooked into the rotator cable
rather than install inside the control
unit. Suspect Yaesu is similar. Most run with 26vac to rotator motor.
Ham-IV is 30vac/2.25A = 13 ohm but I see about
half that with ohmmeter (two windings).

Hi all,
I completed a mixed mode WAC in 2017,but, never applied for a certificate.
I think I'm sailing the same boat as many others.
Congrats to anyone who did complete theirs in CW or DIGI or MIXED, we all
have our struggles to attain each level. Not all have acre+ lots to put up
big arrays or dishes, even though I'm sure many would if they could. This
doesn't make it a lesser achievement. Be happy they are on and enjoying the
HOBBY as we are very happy to have the big guns to work our little stations.
Just my 2¢ worth.

Not sure who is maintaining this list, but VE7BBG's listing is incorrectly
listed as John Pringle, the current holder of the
callsign. It was Cor Maas (SK-2011) that achieved
WAC 432 Mhz #5 with the callsign VE7BBG in 1976.
Please correct your list!

Attached is the 432 WAC list as I have it to date.
Please note that there are a number of dates that are
approximate based on old newsletters or hearsay, and they are
marked in RED. As a consequence, the "number list" is
approximate at best except for K2UYH.
The 2017 and later listings are in green because the
recipients all notified me directly by email when their
certificates arrived. There are some older recipients who
also sent me pix of their certificates to verify the date, but
to be honest I didn't track which ones did so and so they are
listed in black. Of course, the actual number order in which
a 432 WAC was received doesn't really amount to much.....
except for Number 1, of course! (Congrats, Al!)
So, who will be #42?

The second VHF Super Conference will take place
April 26-28, 2019, in Sterling, VA, near Washington, DC.
We would like to have someone give a presentation on EME.
Preferably a relative newcomer to EME who can inspire those
who might be considering it, so they can see that you don't have
to be a big gun to make EME contacts.
please contact me if you are interested

Hallo Group!
Not ON for sometime...
So sad to read about DL6WU... We all know about Günter's great formula and
work, and so, he will always be part of our shack, and array reaching the
moon...and in our mind...
...I have been given this kind of PS 28v 80A, and don't know how to start
it safe.
It was equipping TV and FM broadcast PA etc...
Reference i have is "power supply type 902615 S" and under the sticker is
921.563
One local said to me that the 2 free pins available on the output connector
have to be connected together. That is what i tried. Fan started. But after
a few 30s or so, the main power of house got out... I did not try again, as
if main goes off from house, there is a problem...
I had NO load on the 28v.
Anyone knows about this power supply? This was 24h/365d on, so might be a
good PS for my coming 23cms PA.
Tks in advance... Waiting to qso you on 23 soon from here!

Anybody in or around JO21 with a spare power combiner for 432Mhz ( 3 x N-connector ¼ wave style)
I suspect a " water " issue or a bad contact .. just want to have a spare ready so that I can test + replace
