Dear OMs,
IC-705 drives me mad . . .
I try to put IC-705 + WSJT-X in service for EME.
I use ICOM RS-BA1 as remote tool.
IC-705 on Wifi; Laptop Win10 on same Wifi; WSJT-X on that Laptop.
All installations (firmware, Apps...) as of ICOM documents.
I can't make IC- 705, RS-BA1, Spectrum Scope + WSJT-X to work together.
Single components (IC-705 + RS-BA1 + Spectrum Scope or IC-705 + WSJT-X)
do very well.
I may have an issue with additional virtual com ports . . . ?
Did someone operate such a system and has configuration advice for an OM ?

Hi Mooners.
Today I successfully powered up my 24GHz RW1127 TWT amplifier on a fan
cooled efficient heatsink and it produced 20W at 130mA Ic and 1.3mA Ih.
Left in running for a few seconds, with no ill effects.
I've read all the various texts about intermittent CW keyed operation at up
to 35W but have found no examples of what is a safe operating power for 60
sec on/off JT digimodes.
Anyone out there having digimode QSOs with this tube and can advise on a
safe power level?
No academic speculation please, just some real world experience!

Hello to everyone that participated in the ARRL EME contest. I was
going to submit our score to the 3830 scores web page, but I cannot find
the EME contest listed there. Am I just being stupid(there does seem to
be a lot of that going around lately), or is the EME contest just not
covered there?
If there is some other pace to post our scores, where is it??
Merry New Year......HO HO HO.....73 Marshall K5QE
Thank you to all who responded truly very helpful. Shipping is becoming an
issue coming from the USA or Canada as well plus import taxes going across
the border that is another 15% on the declared value .
Thank you all.

Hi! Friends I am in need of a 12VDC /20A REGULATED & LINEAR power supply
for my station. No switching power supplies because of RF ash
Thank you

This is the tenth year that I have been summarizing the ARRL EME contest and I hope it will continue to grow in participation and log submission. There are currently 120 log submissions. Last year was a growth year and there were 240 submitted logs. I know there are well over 500 stations that were active on bands from 50MHz through at least 24GHz. Please help us make this another growth year for log submissions. If anyone needs assistance with making Cabrillo logs, I can help. If you have any unique stories or pictures of your contest experience, I look forward to hearing from you. TNX for all of your efforts, friendship and technical sharing. I look forward to a "pile-up" of logs! 73, Rick K1DS
