I am trying to assess if it is possible for me to use an adaptation of Q65 on my
upcoming 6m EME DXpedition. Thanks very much for your thoughtful consideration and
comments!
And if you are in a position to actually modify the standard WSJT-X to include some
of the more significant suggestions for a Q65 VHF EME DXpedition Mode, thatwould
really be helpful! I look forward to hearing from you!

Here I am using WSJT.X 2.5.4 which decodes EXTREMELY well . I do not have
Q65 on MAP65 but most people on 144 MHz spend most of their time on JT65B.
So what would be the advantages to use WSJT-X 2.6.0 instead ???
Serge VE1KG
Hi Folks,
I just uploaded the latest version of the EME database on my website.
I also added items to the For Sale section.
Re: preamplifiers DU3T.
For 10Ghz we have one still available (ser.no. 199!)
For 24Ghz we completed another batch and are on ser.no. 040
Adapters WR75-90 and WR42-sma are available at the Heelweg meeting on January 14th.
For those who travel to the Heelweg, glad to meet you there.

Dear moonnet fellows.
I read and heard some about complaints regarding the 2.6.0 version.
I used the RC versions before.
Apart of all pro- and con's I really like the echo mode of the newer
versions WSJT-X.
I mainly use Q65-60 and in some occasions JT65. With drifting signals, quite
some birdies and noise I have the feeling that in that conditions JT65 do a
bit better.
Of course this has not been scientifically proven. The WSJT-X engine sure
outperform all old WSJT versions, even in JT65.
It seems we are getting to an excellent version as we now start with
comments about the layout and human interface issues.
I have no problems with it and would like to thank Joe and the team for the
work done.

Very sad news:
Norbert, DL1SUN, passed away on 3th. Jan. 2023.
He was a well known microwaver and contester in DL and EU. QRV from 6m
up to 24GHz.
From 2012 he was active on 2m-EME and made around 350 intials.
Some massive health issues stopped his activity in the end of 2014.
R.I.P. dear Norbert!
